1. Bog-standard Trabant on Schindler's Factory industrial estate. Driven by an old gadgie, it was the only one we saw on the road during eight days, so perhaps it's a classic over here too. It reminded me that we had seen (our only UK) one this year at Corbridge show - in exceptional condition. (See pic. 23 here.)
2, 3 & 4. The first customised Trab. I've ever seen. Nice paint job.
5. Outside the old tram sheds in the Kazimiersk district, we thought at first that this was a tourist's camper van conversion. It turned out to be a former Yorkshire bus converted as a peripatetic fast food emporium.
6. Near-side view shows serving hatches. The side banner is in English, but it had Polish plates. For local UK interest, the destination board indicates Dudley Hill with intermediate Baghill & Thorpe Road.
7. Yet another red Barkas parked beside the bar of a hotel.
8. Badge: Barkas (made in) Hainichen.
9. Smart Corvette near city centre.
